This person had the same problem:
http://lists.debian.org/debian-x/2006/04/msg02180.h
What is /etc/X11/X? ... on my system it is a symlink to
/usr/bin/X11/Xorg and I cant see how that has been customized.
Same over here...

Hi,
I'm using the current Debian 'unstable', and since yesterday my X
doesn't accept the key inputs anymore. When I press a key, nothing
happens. So my X is unusable.
I noticed the log below, somebody who knows what I can do about this?
As you can see in the log, I'm using X.org.

Hi, my keyboard is working again!
Let me explain what I did. After switching off the Xserver by ssh'ing I
was able to use my keyboard at the console. Then after installing icewm,
I "startx" and was able to use my keyboard in this environment so the
problem was related to KDM/KDE. I then tried to

off hand - not near machine right now).
How do I get both cards recognised?
I tried two lines in /etc/modules quoting IRQs and IOs (as it wouldn't
autodetect them).. Only first card is loade
