Problem solved.
It was merely shooting myself in the foot.
In the course of comparing use of header resources for compiling
ltmodem.o, I temporarily renamed /usr/include --> /usr/Include
Temporarily means, I forgot to /usr/Include --> /usr/include
immediately after the little experiment
