Hi Dean,
I too, am having similar problems. Upgraded to 2.4.2 and PPP is no
longer working. Works fine all my other kernels though (2.2.18 and 2.2.15)

immediately failed. The connection was made, but an IOCTL said there
was an argument error, and PPPD aborted. The IOCTL command in question was for
"PPPIOCGFLAGS".
