I'd like to know how to modify my Keep-alive time-out for TCP connections by
socket.

Should be not muxh more then pinging the ISP every 5 minutes or so.
That way if it (the ISP) has a time limit, you defeat it everytime you
ping. Lucky guy!

Or see the pppd "persist" option in the pppd man page. The lcp
options Nils mentioned are probably a good idea too.
