I assume your device is plugged in via USB? What does dmesg / syslog

Jpilot also uses the PILOTPORT environment variable. Hint: I have

There's no error message.
If I start jpilot in a terminal and try to synchronize, there's no
message. Only on the pda that there's no connection.

Hi,
I installed squeeze and jpilot (like in Lenny) and try to synchronize
jpilot with my pda tungsten e2 (like in Lenny), but it doesn't work.
Can someone help me?

Well, I solved it. Apparently this happens when the serial speed is
set too low. So, after setting it at 115200, from 9600, and after
restarting my computer, it now syncs. I discovered this tidbit at
Debian bug #396751. So, anyway, all is well now, and I can now get
organized.

I'm connecting the PDA via USB with my PC. As device
I always used /dev/pilot which is a link to /dev/ttyUSB0.
However, it does not work anymore.
How can I figure out if I'm still using the right device?

I'm already at the same situation... It could be cool to have a good palm

Any suggestions how to best manage email addresses on my home LAN.
I use a Palm and Jpilot, Squirrelmail, and mutt mostly. I'd like to be
able to sync addresses from all these sources. I.e., enter address in
Squirrel mail and have it show up in mutt and on jpilot.

Hi all,
I recently installed jpilot/testing, only to discover that the sync
process hangs on MemoDB. It just stops and after some time, the PDA
tells me that the connection was lost. Replacing pilot-link/testing
