Just started playing with IPCHAINS and I'm having trouble getting it
configured...
Basically, I want to DENY just about everything on the ppp0 from the
outside, but I need enough to let the following services work:
* Dynamically assigned nameservers
* Outbound SMTP to my ISP
* Inbound POP3 from
I'm trying to setup some firewalling rules, now that my Linux box has a
full-time ADSL connection to the Internet. I'm currently running kernel
2.2.7 (under potato), so I'm using ipchains in my (apparently feeble
) attempts to do this.
