What about your internet connection? If you got one: apt-get install kdm
Then set it as default when the postconfigure-screen appears.

Set it as the default session manager. If u havent install kdm use
dselect or aptitude select and install kdm.

Either install the 'kdm' package, or: dpkg-reconfigure kdm
