You know knoppix has a hard disk install option.
It has great hardware detection and most things just
work when you do a hard disk install.
ANother thing you can do with knoppix is to run knoppix
off CD or DVD

It is a COMPAC PRESARIO 5716. The problem is that this machine shows a
big red Q at startup and no BIOS info. I therefore do not know which
