That's what I found eventually, thanks.
Of course, when I google for 'Linux Realtek 8019' this does

Or you could just download

and extract the contents(rset8019.exe) to a DOS

If you are using module for the NIC, it's perhaps possible to set the half
duplex mode in the options passed to the module.
Good luck,

Apparently, there's no MII interface, so I can't use mii-* tools (tells
me 'operation not supported') ne2k-diag can't be told to just set the
card to half duplex, so I'm a bit stuck now.
Anybody knows how to set that card to half duplex mode?
Thanks VERY MUCH if any

There is a program called "mii-diag" and "pci-diag" somewhere at

How does one tell if a network card is running at full or half duplex?
I looked at the bootup messages with dmesg and the information provided by
ifconfig, but no luck.
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:50:BA:C6:22:40
inet addr:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Bcast:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
I think full-duplex mode is valid only for a point-to-point connection
with a special cable. But I could be wrong. I suggest you look at the
driver source code.

Hello,

the module gets loaded it tell that it operates
in half-duplex mode. I ran out of ideas. Does
any one know how to change it to
