I have recently found Samuel Mimram's Debian repository[1] which provides
gaim-vv packages for i386 architectures. As far as I'm also a PowerPC
user I'm interested in gaim-vv packages for this kind of architecture.

Good thing Gaim with Voice and Video
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/gaim-vv/ has been start) has been
started. Another one of the last reasons removed to boot in Windows to
let someone in the house chat with a webcam :)
A deb is not available yet though.
