I'm running IceWM and Gdesklets. When I log-out of IceWM, Gdesklets
alerts me if I want to delete the current running desklets before
it'll let me log out. I.e., what this'll do is remove any running
desklets so that they won't appear next time I log in - not what I

I had the same problem. Its seems that this is a python bug because the
gdesklets daemon is always crashing with segmentation fault.

I was looking at the gdesklets package, and it looked interesting enough for me to apt-get it to try it and see how it was. Problem is when I do a "gdesklets start", it times out while trying to connect to the daemon.

I'm a bit confused - you know about the starterbar.display, but are
surprised when nothing happens when starting gDesklets? So you know to
browse to /usr/share/gdesklets/Display and use the various .display's
found in there?
