using default backup setting for localhost, it failed full backup with
below error messages:
Contents of file /var/lib/backuppc/pc/localhost
his is the reason why people say
"Before you do a major upgrade, always do a full backup. And be sure
you know how to do a full "bare-metal" restore from that backup, just
incase you actually need it!"

But server using hardware raid. and my question is. how can i take
full backup, that in case of any failure i will be able to restore
system and it was just before
We have a small server, with no bulk backup device, but has network and
CDrom reader.
What is the easiest way to be able to recover everything in case of a crash?
E.g. make big tar, ftp to remote site, and then restore?
But I presume that one cannot overlay a running system. Thus boot to flopp
