Check the esd manpage, there is an option to have it die after a few

Wasn't very careful when i posted the esd problem - didn't enable
the esound plugins in xmms and realplay. just great... now i got that
fixed by enabling them. sorry for the silly post...
anyway, are there any more packages that are compatible with esd?
