I was able to get to the download for a 74mb tar of eDirectory 8.64 for Linux. http://download.novell.com/filedist/pages/PublicSearch.jsp I used Novell NDS extensively a few years back, at the time it was years ahead of others for managing 1000s of users on 100s servers. I think eDirectory is

I have heard so many good things about the LDAP implimentation in novell's eDirectory but have always put it off since i thought it would be really expensive. Looking at their website it seems as if the software is only $10(*). I have not investigated much further but if its so cheap I th
