Looks like a bug in some script used by dselect where the existing of a
file is testing, but there is no file to test for its existence.

packages off a cd. As far as I know I've done nothing differently,

I am still having problems upgrading to hamm. I have run autoup.sh

Hi folks,
Upgraded quite successfully to libc6 unstable. But now for some reason,
I get the following error when ftp upgrading using Dselect;
gzip: stdout: Broken pipe
dpkg-deb: subprocess gzip -dc returned error exit status 1
dpkg: error processing
debian/dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/
I am a new user to Linux and whilst trying to install packages through
'dselect' I run into problems which return a message 'exit error
status 1'
Also not all of the packages selected will install.
ie. half a package may install but the rest won't.
Any sugestions???
thanks
