There is another strnge thing. /etc/init.d/alsa start says
Starting ALSA sound driver (version 0.9.0rc6): no sound cards defined.
???

- installed devfsd
- rebuilt my kernel (2.4.20) with devfs option set
- rebuilt alsa modules (make-kpkg)
- run modprobe snd-intel8x0
- run alsamixer
but I have no /dev/dsp device !
What's the way to create it with devfs ?
