Hello everybody,
I installed solaris and debian together at my notebook.
First of all, i installed windows and debian. Then, I decided
to install solaris over the windows partition and leave the

Hello,
I' planning to install a debian system secondary to Solaris x86 on a wintel
machine and have not that much experience of a debian system. Does anybody
like to share some experiences?
What I'm interested in is if it is possible to place /export and /home on a
UFS based filesystem with Sola

Here's an nfs mount from my /etc/fstab:
magneto:/usr/local/mp3s /usr/local/mp3s nfs ro,user 0 0
And I assume that the solaris box has its nfs set up correctly. Have you checked
it from other machines?
