Although other Linux-distributions are easier to install, I'm very
satisfied with the Debian distribution and I'd like to use it more

I am trying to get BONDING working with Debian 3.1. I'll explain my setup.
- External Motorola Bitsurfer Pro
- using cua1 or ttyS1 (both dial and connect via V.120)
- I am using ppp (start and stop) in /etc/init.d

Can somebody give me a hint how to connect my debian-linux box via

I know of some isdn4linux package, but the readme expects me to do a
kernel patch.
Isn't there a isdn kernel-module anywhere to do the job?
