on my Lenny MacBook, `compiz-fusion' and `pommed' has been installed.
`gpomme' seems to work partially:
when the `eject' key is pressed, a nice image shows up;
when one of the sound keys is pressed, a nice animated images appears;
but when one the tow light keys

I'm using Shame's repo for my compiz fusion packages. But it has been a
while since there have been no new updates available. As far as i can
see, my installed version of compiz fusion is 0.6.2 but i've read on the
net that 0.7.0 is out there and in a stable form?

drivers either, and I'm on relatively old drivers.

files. Let's see if that makes Compiz work in my box. I'll tell you.

Simple-ccsm is not needed. The regular ccsm can be used in Debian Etch.
You just have to disable the check for pygtk and then comment or remove
the lines that cause errors.
