Hi, I am using magicfilter (from unstable) to print documents. However, it can only print in black and white. I have a hp deskjet 855c and the current driver I am using is deskjet because there are no specific driver for 855c. should I try another driver instead? or is there something else I sh

Having some sort of printer problems... first, My printer is a HP deskjet 855C. I installed apsfilter but when trying to use the driver for deskjet 855c..it prints out garbage..so I defaulted to the driver for deskjet compatibles only. I wonder why the correct drivers doesn't work? anybody expe

Hi All, I ran magicfilterconfig and set up my local printer on lp0. The closest thing to my hp560c was an hp530c driver. It prints ok, but only in black/white. Is there a way I can have linux print using colors too, or is this restricted to using one of my windows boxes? Set up is linux 2.2.

probs: color printing with canon bjc620

hello debians i configured my printcap to print with my canon bjc620 using the bjc600 filter it works fine -- but only black and white (i´ve tested with SO5, Netscape, xv) i remember some time ago it works! (this was on my server which is momentaly down) i´m using ii magicfilter 1.2-21
