This is how I did it:
1. Start with the stable base disks and install the base
Debian Linux system per the standard method (ie; follow
the prompts on screen.) See the Debian Installation Guide.

Tonight I had to install a new debian system, and I wanted it to be
completely 'hamm' from the beginning. Since there are no install disks
for hamm yet, I decided to do the following (also on recommendation from
some other folks here on the list):
Install using the 'bo' disks, untill dsele
