doable with interactive aptitude, but I'd rather stick with the
commandline if I can.

Try moving /var/lib/dpkg/status to a different name and then copy
/var/lib/dpkg/status.old or one of the backups in /var/backups to

So I've got myself into a bit of a dependency problem by jumping the
gun. kdelibs-data needs a later version of openoffice.org than will
be installed. I think if I just let libranet handle this it would be
