Thanks for the advice. I changed Default Depth to 16 and now I can get a display, but it seems to decide that any resolution greater than 800x600 is not valid. I know that with only 2 MB of video memory I can't get some of them, but 1024x768 works fine with XFree 3.3.6. I get this line repeated
