One way to do it is to `gzip -d' every file and `compress' it. The
/usr/bin/compress binary is in the 'ncompress
Do you have xfstt referenced in /etc/X11/XF86Config? I was getting
similar errors under vncserver when trying to use unix-domain sockets
with xfstt. If you have an entry that looks like
FontPath "unix/:7101"
try replacing it with
FontPath "tcp/localhost:7101"
