Writing a book with sgml

Hi everybody! I´m writing a book using debiandoc dtd, but I found that there is not support for including pictures or tables. So I think that´s a better idea to use the linuxdoc dtd. Where can I found the documentation for tags under linuxdoc? Is it difficult to learn?
