No idea! Just like Wifi Direct in Android. Shareit , Xender, etc. are services that use you wireless device, as an AP (hotspot) and lets you share files over them. Like, you can share files 100 times faster than Bluetooth. Exactly, it appears like bluetooth,but uses Wifi hardware. -- Regards
