Found an ext3 -> mkinitrd procedure in the "debian reference"! Tried it: created the initrd, ran lilo. No change. Put an initrd command in the lilo.conf. Smoked. (It finds the "cram", flags 0 block-size and panic!) There are instructions in http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/linux/librar
