Hi, I've got an old Voodoo1 (Diamond Monster 3D) and I'd like to use it with X4.2. It worked without problems with X3.3 and Mesa, but I can't figure out how to get it to work again. I googled around a bit, and got only more confused, so I thought maybe I'd find help here. So can anybody tell me:

I have a Diamond Monster 3d 4Mb Voodoo graphics card. I used to use it with SuSE 6.4 and xfree86 3.3.6. and could play tuxracer and bzflag. Since I upgraded to xfree86 4, I have not been able to configure the voodoo(1) graphics chipset. I am running debian testing, xfree86 4.2.1 and kernel
