Is your keyboard correctly configured? Perhaps you are using a keymap
that doesn't correspond to your keyboard. Try with
$> dpkg-reconfigure console-common
and selecting

It's been 3 months since I've been using only linux (first month rh then
debian) on
my pc and only problem left with is using turkish
fonts. I tried lots of things but I have nothing! (for
