I upgraded from bookworm to trixie a couple of weeks ago (on an ordinary AMD64 desktop running xfce and lightDM).After the upgrade it no longer boots into the GUI. I have to login and then run startx. Why? What's the recommended way make it boot into the GUI? Another annoyance is that after boot

I'm running Trixie on an AMD64 system. Yesterday after doing my usual morning full-upgrade, I rebooted because there were a lot of Plasma-related updates. When I logged in, I found I wasn't connected to my file server shares. I eventually traced this down to a lack of nfs software on my workst

I only changed "bookworm" to "trixie in sources.list. "apt update" "apt upgrade" "apt autoremove" coinor-libcoinmplv5 was held back but "apt full-upgrade" upgraded it. Don't know what that was about but all seems painless. mick
