subscribing) it may happen that the occasional spam will pass the
*excellent* filters. In such cases, please:
- do not reply to the spam message, it makes it impossible to clean the
archives afterwar

You are not required to be subscribe to post to the list. It is more
trouble than it is worth - I am on three such lists.
