Hi!
I trying to install a new system with slink. However, I do not seem to
be able to construct a correct sources.list.
I have two disks that have supposedly been made from the official
distribution (i386 binary) and a third disk that contains non-free,
non-US, gnome and some more goodies.

The problem is that even "Just" main is bigger than 1
1) I saw some CD vendors who claim that they ship their CD with a multi-cd

inspite the inclusion of apt ?
2) Some CD vendors say that their CDs include contrib + non-US + parts of

Hi Tyson,
As a satisfied customer, I would rather wait until there is an official
release of Slink. I don't have any burning desire to run the cutting edge, but
place more emphasis on a bug free complete distribution.
Hopefully we will still be able to pick up the CDROMs in Fitzroy when they

Hi,
Will you be making CD images of the other architectures to be carried in
slink as well, so those can be tested?
Thanks,
John

Should anyone want slink CDs in Australia, rather than download
a few gigabytes of CD images or updates, you may want to grab t
I tryed to upgrade from ftp.
I downloaded apt-get 1.8, I modified sources.list, I run apt-get update and
the apt-get dist-upgrade.
After a lot of download I got this error:

With the Bug count under 20 now, I figure it's time for some final
testing of Slink.
For CD beta testers I've put the 2 i386 binary and 2 source images up
on a server in Michigan (US), accessible via ftp, http, and rsync:
