I try to execute foreign binaries with qemu-user on a Debian
buster/amd64 system.
Just for the fun (and somewhat checking of portability of some
programs) I have installed numerous cross-compilers for the following
systems:
m68k-linux-gnu mips64-linux-gnuabi64powerpc-linux-gnu
arm
[EMAIL PROTECTED],

That would be the Debian libc5 package, then. You should try
http://packages.debian.org/ to search for what package contains a given
file.

according to the instructions i've seen i'm supposed to add the
argument "-static" to this command:
gcc add.o admin.o buffer.o checkin.o checkout.o classify.o client.o commit.o

if you have xlib6 3.3.2-1 from hamm, then this is a well known bug
which has been discussed to death on debian-devel and it is now fixed
in release 3.3.2-2. so get that out of unstable. and one more thing.
if you are going to use the unstable distribution, do us a favour and
read debian-devel. or b
