i've been tryin to solve this off and on for about a
year now and figure i should ask the list for advice.
ever since i started using sendmail 8.11 and more
recently started testing sendmail 8.12.1 i can't
get it to use the access database at all. the
sendmail.mc im using is h
I can compile sendmail on potato but when I run sendmail config, have problems
building aliases.db, userdb.db
and virtusertable.db
If I try hash
FEATURE(`virtusertable', `hash /etc/mail/virtusertable')dnl
I get:
makemap: error opening type hash map /etc/mail/virtusertable.db: Invalid
arg

use only `deb-src' lines pointing to woody, all binary repositories

Last week I switched sources.list to woody to upgrade sendmail and
apache.
This causes upgrade of libc6, as I succesfully upgraded on a other
server (a completelly woody one) I had no surprise.. but...

How can I configure Sendmail 8.11 to work as before?
One more thing... Was wondering if anybody knows how to do
content filtering in Sendmail. I want to check Subject: for
keywords/phrases (not the entire subject line, I'm already
doing that), and possibly check the contents o
