OK, this worked to get lesstif-bin configured properly, thanks!
I'm still not able to log in at xdm, though. The xserver restarts, and I
don't seem to get any specific error messages. When I startx from a
terminal prompt, X just tries to start then dies, with no error messages.

Ok, I installed grep 2.1-7 and now xdm works, but when I try to login, the
