With snd-intel8x0 and snd-ens1371 loaded you should be able to use
/dev/snd/pcmC0D0p and /dev/snd/pcmC1D0p. E.g.,
aplay -Dhw:0 foo.wav
aplay -Dhw:1 foo.wav
You can set up /etc/modprobe.d/sound this way by hand:
