I have it working here - software RAID 5 on an IDE disk (yes,
pointless all being on one IDE disk - I was just experimenting
with it!).
AFAIK, the most important thing is to set the partition type to
RAID autodetect (fd). Once you've done this you should find that

is there anybody who has it working? i followed the HOWTO instructions,
but lilo doesn't work. in theory, lilo should work fine with /dev/md0,
but .. it doesn't in real world.
