Looks like a permission problem. Install gphoto2 apt-get install gphoto2 then try as root gphoto2 --autodetect -L If you get a list of pictures in the cam, try the same as a normal user. If it works as root and not as a normal user, read the README.Debian file. Christophe On Thu, Apr 15,
