You probably want to use the multiple cd option. Your CD-Rom is most likely
/dev/cdrom or /dev/hdb for ATAPI or /dev/scd0 for SCSI. I would recommend the
KDE desktop manager, as you will probably find it very familiar and there is

According to the Parallel Processing HOWTO, parallel processing is
supported on 486DX, but not on 486SX.
