Are you positive of that? A couple months ago when I bought a DVD from
Amazon (Dungeons and Dragons Volume Three), I found out it was Region 2.

Personally, I think the most efficient method is vobcopy.
vobcopy -m will mirror the entire DVD, and in the proper structure, to
your hard drive. Then you can simply use K3B to burn it to a DVD-R or
an iso file.
Thanks. I'll have to try vobcopy. It looks like a useful program.

I think the issue is that if you use consumer-grade DVD media, it is not

Hi
I have a dvd, one that I placed in my tv-dvd unit and it played, with
video and sound.
I want to copy it, I have a dvd burner in my debian/testing.
I suggest installing the package k9copy, from the multimedia repository.

In Etch, dvdbackup works a treat duplicating digital video DVDs.

Is there a specific conflict? I've ran packages designed for older
distros on newer ones fairly often. woody's user-mode-linux package on
sarge, for example.

that's a fairly lame

Talk is cheap. Use Yahoo! Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls.

It works. You must be doing something wrong then. I know personally that it
works
under wine and crossover.
