hi i finally rebooted to add some memory and am now in the grips of the x4.2 problems. (was able to restart X ok yesterday before reboot so i thought it would restart ok after boot..) the log file from /etc/X11 shows it trying to load "sub-module" fb. that has always been the kiss of death he
