Take a look at xvidtune. It will allow you to interactively shift the
screen and dump the resulting X timing to stdout. You can then paste
those settings in your /etc/X11/XF86Config file.

Try using 'xvidtune'. If you use its 'Show' button once you've gotten
your screen in the proper place, you can copy and paste the info
