thank you but dist-upgrade had the same result.
'~# rm -R /var/lib/apt/lists/*; apt update; apt upgrade' worked.
Still don't know what was wrong...

Btw:
1) That's not Ubuntu but the Signal desktop client and the correct
repository. Confuses me all the time as well.
