I had a line in my ~/.bash_profile like this:
export PATH=".:~/programs/bin:"$PATH":/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/sbin"
... hashing it out fixed the netscape problem. It also runs from the
fvwm2 menu now, since I added:
export PATH=/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:~/bin
... to my ~/.
