hmm, i had the same problem - in my case it was authentication - i turned it off in /etc/ppp/config try to edit /etc/resolv.conf - put there your nameserver adress greetz look into /var/log/syslog - and try run pppd with "debug" option /-d/ how i test my ppp conection: run minicom connect to yo
