that should probably do the trick, i'm using woody
with kernel 2.4.17 and the ppp package i installed was
for stable - doh! i'll download ppp 2.4.1.uus-4 and
hope that things will work.

upgrade your kernel you also need to upgrade pppd. I haven't tested it yet

it off in /etc/ppp/config
try to edit /etc/resolv.conf - put there your nameserver adress
