I think I had the same problem once, can't remember what solved it, but I definitely found the cause of the problem. I think it had something to do with files in /tmp or something like that. I am quite sure there were some leftover files, just not sure where/which files. check /tmp and /var/tmp (

There are still two versions, although in dselect the name is too long and gets cut off in a screen which is 80 chars wide. You need the static (statically linked to motif libraries, to be specific) version unless you've purchased motif and have it installed on your system. Shanta McBain wrote:
