Okay, recording what I did to fix things: Basic problem: Ethernet Ne2k-pci card was loading with INT 0 instead of INT 10, and failing to work. Solution: (1) It turns out that the others who advised me were right. You can't do a warm boot always from Win98 to Linux. It's gotta be cold. But rat

Whoops! More on that ethernet problem. Apparently, when I ran LinuxConfig, I must have messed something up with /etc/ config file that contains data about the ethernet module. Interestingly, I still have ethernet. Anyhow, it says "file is deprecated. please delete the file ASAP." Can I do
