Dear maintainers,
since months in debian/testing the xserver-* packages cannot be updated as the
package virtualbox-guest-x11 inhibits the update due to the wrong

IMO it is not really a bug and maybe it could be fixed easily. T
Yeah, ok. Accepted. :)

package. It should be no problem, to remove or to change this dependency
without leaving camstream not workable.
Same to the version libjpeg62-

Hi Andrei,
this is the output. Sorry, it is in German, but should show what I mean:

The first step would probably be to give us detailed information about
what you're trying to do.

That is a broken depends, afaik. Depends: glibc (=2.2.3-7) was
perhaps intended, but it got out differently. Welcome to unstable.

Thanks!
I figured it out. When I was downgrading my libc6 it somehow removed the
'ldconfig' file /sbin - so I just copied it from another machine with a similar
setup and I could (or better apt-get could) finish the downgrade of my libc6
and from there everything worked fine.

I need to remember to check the bug reports before asking questions like
this. There is a information about this in the gedit bug reports.
I have not done this yet, but it looks like the solution is to recompile
gedit, gtop using my new libesd-alsa0.
