I have heard the driver shipped with the card won't work with win98. You
probably need to download a updated driver from 3com's web site.

You'll prolly not get much support from the list, being a Windows issue
*grin*.
What I can tell you is that the Vortex is a known problematic card under
Windows, certaining the ones I've heard about locally being played with
were a pain - you'll have to get drivers from 3Com for it..
