a setting to [En|Dis]able booting form USB. Is your

Once more, for the record: My system doesn't boot up when the USB card reader
is plugged in, instead it stops after the message
"checking 'hlt' instruction... OK" however, if I plug it in when the system's
up, it works perfectly well...
Yes, I thought of that in the first place. But I don't have hotplug enabled.
Also, usb-mass-storage is compiled as a module, so it can't be the kernel
trying to boot from the USB stick because it would have to find that module
first...
